February 19, 2013 The record crowd of 3,678 saw a hard-fought battle between UCF and No. 17 Florida, but it was the Gators who came away victorious by the score of 5-3.The Knights (2-2) pitched well enough to win, but had some miscues defensively and didn't deliver the needed clutch hits. UCF stranded runners in scoring positions in four of the first five innings. UCF's homestand continues this weekend with the Wawa Weekend Classic.
