UCF 39, Temple 36: Postgame Reaction
UCF coach George O'Leary, kicker Shawn Moffitt, quarterback Blake Bortles, wide receiver Rannell Hall and wide receiver J.J. Worton talk to the media following their 39-36 come-from-behind victory at Temple.
Looking at a 36-29 deficit after Temple scored a touchdown and executed the two-point coversation with 2:04 on the clock, the No. 15 Knights (8-1, 5-0) scored 10 points in the final 1:06: Worton made a highlight reel catch in the corner of the endzone to tie, then following a defensive stop, Moffitt kicked a 23-yard field goal to win the game. His kick was set up by a 64-yard Bortles-to-Hall reception.
"I thought both Rannell Hall and J.J. Worton had a great second half," O'Leary said. "That (Worton) made in the endzone was outstanding. I thought that everybody contributed. (Temple) put a lot of pressure on us in the second half as far as blitzing almost every down. It was a good win and I'm very happy to have the win with the way it worked out."
UCF hosts Rutgers next Thursday on ESPN.
