ORLANDO - With the start of preseason camp set for Saturday, UCF's players reported to campus Friday and moved into the new Convocation Center Apartments, located next to the UCF Arena. Head coach George O'Leary welcomed 105 players to campus, including four junior college transfers.
"All four junior college players fill some voids and will have a chance to contribute," stated UCF head coach George O'Leary.

Kenny Jackson (Bakersfield CC), Dominik Kelly (Hines CC), Sinclair Brown (Reedley JC) and Bryan Gabourel (San Francisco CC) have been accepted into school and will be eligible to practice with the team Saturday.
Jackson (6-2, 205), a three-star wide receiver according to Rivals.com, originally signed with Michigan State last year but did not enroll with the Spartans. He spent two seasons at Bakersfield CC in California and recorded the third-fastest time in the 110 high hurdles in the California junior college ranks last year.
The JucoFootball Network (www.jucofootball.org) placed Jackson on its third-team All-America squad following the 2003 season. That site's all-Juco team encompasses the entire country, not just California or schools west of the Mississippi.
The third-team All-America ranking puts Jackson among jucofootball.org's top nine-to-12 junior college wide receivers in the nation.
Jackson estimates that he had 50-plus receptions for nearly 700 yards, with four touchdowns in 2003.
Kelly (6-2, 180) is a defensive back from Hines CC in Mississippi. Brown (6-4, 230) is a tight end from Reedley JC, the same junior college that produced current Golden Knight Marlon Williams. Williams enrolled at UCF in January and practiced with the team in the spring.
Gabourel (6-3, 275) brings size and strength to the UCF defensive line.
Biographies of all four newcomers will be posted online at ucfathletics.com next week.
All 105 of UCF's players moved in to the new Convocation Center Apartments Friday. The new apartments provide the players with state-of-the-art living conditions just a quick walk away from the Wayne Densch Sports Center.
Friday evening, the players are scheduled to attend a team meeting. The first practice of the year is scheduled for Saturday from 3:10-5:30 p.m. Sunday, the team practices from 1:40-3:50 p.m. before taking part in UCF Media Day from 4:30-5:45 p.m.
