A long time target, Beach had offers from the likes of Cincinnati, Mississippi State, South Carolina and USF.

A few minutes later, defensive end Antwan Owens also announced he too would be committing to UCF. His offers included East Carolina, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi State, Purdue, USF, Tulane, Cincinnati, Syracuse and Wake Forest.
