Causey commits to UCF

One of UCF's top remaining targets popped for the Knights on Friday night.
Cornerback Rashard Causey, who was rumored to be a lean since last weekend's visit, took to Twitter and Instagram shortly after 6 o'clock to announce the pledge:

A longtime FAU commit, Causey parted ways with the Owls earlier this month. His other offers included Arkansas, Cincinnati, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi State, Nebraska, NC State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, South Carolina, USF, TCU, Tennessee, UCLA, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Rivals.com ranks Causey as the nation's No. 42 cornerback. He was recruited by new UCF cornerbacks coach Travis Fisher.
With less than week before next Wednesday's National Signing Day, UCF's commitment class now stands at 16. Several prospects are still in play, including cornerback Brandon Scott (who visits Arkansas this weekend), cornerback Derrick Baity (who visits Kentucky), H-Back Aaron Cochran (who also visits Kentucky) and wide receiver Kahlil Lewis (current West Virginia commit).
