Future Knights to play in local all-star game

Four UCF commits have been invited to play in the 2014 Offense-Defense All-American Bowl set for Friday, Jan. 3 at Orlando's Florida Citrus Bowl. The game will kick off at 5 p.m.
Safety Michael Rogers and offensive linemen Chavis Dickey, Wyatt Miller and Luke Palmer will be among the players representing the East squad.

They'll report to the Doubletree Universal on Monday, Dec. 30 and spend the week in the area. Pre-bowl practices will be conducted at Apopka High School.
Dickey had about a dozen offers at the time of his commitment this past summer, ultimately choosing the Knights over Cincinnati, Wake Forest, East Carolina and Middle Tennessee.
Miller picked UCF over Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State.
Palmer has seen a surge of interest this fall from USF and Missouri, but has remained solid with UCF.
Rogers has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in Georgia, still being heavily recruited by Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Georgia, Auburn, Arkansas and others.
All four players are scheduled to take their official visits to UCF later in January.
This is the seventh installment of the national high school all-star game and the first year in Orlando. The past two games were played in Texas.
