JUCO DE sets visit
UCF is going "coast to coast" in search of prospects to finish off their 2016 recruiting class.
Running backs coach Ryan Held is in California this week and on Tuesday visited with defensive end Raveon Hoston of Los Angeles Valley Community College. The defensive end tells UCFSports.com an official visit has been confirmed for the weekend of Jan. 29.
"(Coach Held) told me great things about UCF," Hoston said. "He really emphasized the graduation rate. They're graduating 90 percent of their football players."
That mark ranks No. 6 among FBS schools and No. 1 among public institutions.
Arkansas State and Memphis have also made a late push having offered in recent days.
The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder is originally from Monroe, La.
