Philadelphia OL schedules date with UCF
An offensive lineman from Philadelphia is seeing a flurry of new interest after helping lead his team to a state championship and undefeated season.
Carter Lynch, who is 6-foot-7, 310 pounds and attends St. Joseph's Prep, has been contacted in recent weeks by UCF, South Carolina and Louisville just to name a few. He will visit nearby Delaware this weekend and then head down to Orlando the following weekend for a visit to UCF.
"I have been talking to Coach Austin a little bit," Lynch said. "I have researched a little already about UCF. I know it's a great school and a great place to play football."
Lynch's recruitment was slow to pick up due to a junior year injury, but he made up for it with a standout senior season that saw him named to USA Today's All-Pennsylvania First Team, which encompasses all classifications within the state.
