Just days after landing an official offer from UCF, Eric Seidelman accepted.

The Bishop Moore center pledged on Sunday afternoon to become the Knights' second commitment in the Class of 2018.

Seidelman made the announcement via his Twitter account:

Air Force, Ohio, Marshall, Georgia State, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina and Appalachian State had also offered while schools such as Virginia Tech, NC State and North Carolina planned to watch him during the spring evaluation period.

UCF shot to the top of his list after receiving the offer.

"I'm really excited about this offer," Seidelman said last week. "Coach (Greg) Austin told me about a week ago, 'Listen, you're one of our top center prospects. I want you... He says he wishes he had 1,000 linemen with my mentality. He says I could come in and play and he likes how I would excel in the classroom too."

UCF loves Seidelman's toughness.

"I finish the play, no matter what," Seidelman said. "Coach Austin says he loves how I finish, just the smash-mouth style I play with."

Seidelman joins Ocala (Fla.) Vanguard safety Avonta Crim as the early members of UCF's class.
