The UCF football team is welcoming at least three new additions for the spring semester.

-Trinity Valley (Tex.) College offensive lineman Christian Beard, who committed last month with three years of eligibility remaining. The Waco, Tex., native spent his freshman season redshirting at Arkansas State before transferring to junior college. He was an immediate target of Scott Frost and new assistant coach Ryan Held due to his athleticism and speed - above average for a linemen.

-Lake Wales (Fla.) offensive lineman Luke Hiers, the 2015 signee who deferred enrollment while recovering from shoulder surgery. A former Kentucky commit, the No. 8 rated center in last year's class flipped to the Knights early last season with a preference to stay closer to home. Shoulder issues from his high school career necessitated surgery last spring, so he was asked to delay enrollment until January as a grayshirt.

-Copiah-Lincoln (Miss.) Community College quarterback Garrett Kruczek. The son of former UCF head coach Mike Kruczek and Lake Howell QB will walk on with four years to play three seasons. In his one season at Co-Lin, Kruczek completed 62 percent of his passes (202-of-326) for 2,336 yards and 16 touchdowns with 10 interceptions.
