The UCF Knights are the 2017 American Athletic Conference Baseball Champions.
In a winner-take-all game against rival South Florida, the Knights, led by stellar pitching from starter Joe Sheridan and Jason Bahr, prevailed in a 3-2 contest to take home the regular season crown and No. 1 seed in next week's conference tournament.

Full video of the pregame Senior Day presentation. UCF honored 12 seniors: Kam Gellinger, Brooks Morgan, Luke Hamblin, Ryan Crile, Austin Grifin, Brennan Bozeman, Juan Pimentel, Campbell Scholl, Eli Putnam, Drew Faintich, Robby Howell and Trent Thompson.
Video of the final two outs in the ninth inning, then the postgame celebration, dogpile, handshakes with USF and distribution of champion t-shirts. Several students and children joined in on the fun.
