UCF beats Belmont to capture Holiday Classic
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Keith Clanton had 26 points and 10 rebounds, and UCF held off Belmont for a 66-63 victory on Saturday night in the UCF Holiday Tournament.
Isaiah Sykes chipped in 16 points and seven rebounds, and Kasey Wilson contributed 10 points and eight rebounds for UCF (9-3).

Ian Clark scored 21 points for Belmont (9-4), and Kerron Johnson added 18 points and eight rebounds. Trevor Noack had 12 points and six rebounds.
The Knights led 33-21 at the half and 56-45 on Keith Clanton's layup with 4:42 to go, but the Bruins chipped away. They pulled to 63-61 on Noack's 3-pointer with 35 seconds left, but Calvin Newell, Clanton and Sykes each made 1 of 2 free throws to preserve the win.
UCF defeated Howard University 62-45 on Friday, and Belmont beat Boston University 64-48.
