UCF commit James Collins pumped after meeting with Heupel, Elarbee

James Collins remains all in with UCF.

The Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith offensive lineman committed to the Knights earlier this season, shortly before his Nov. 11 official visit to Orlando.

On Wednesday, Collins was visited by new head coach Josh Heupel and offensive line coach Glen Elarbee.

"It went great!," Collins said. "Coach Heupel preached all the things I needed to hear to get the warm fuzzy feeling."

Collins also enjoyed meeting his future position coach.

"Everything was great with Coach Elarbee as well," Collins said. "They preach how important family and relationship is and I loved it. Plus Coach E said his wife makes desserts for birthdays and she makes a mean apple pie. I'm looking forward to it!"

Collins reaffirmed his commitment and says he will be signing his National Letter of Intent next week during college football's first ever early-signing period.
