UCF head coach Scott Frost indicated on Signing Day the staff would keep an eye out for a possible late addition to their 2016 recruiting class.

Looks like they found one.

Dedrion Bacote, a defensive end from Ocean Lakes High School in Virginia Beach, arrives Wednesday to begin his official visit. The 6-foot-3, 225-pounder, who goes by the nickname "BamBam," went unsigned but has seen a flurry of interest since receiving a qualifying test score. UCF, East Carolina and Indiana are among his reported offers with several more schools making contact.

A first team All-Conference selection, Bacote finished his senior season with 93 total tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 16 sacks, seven forced fumbles and six pass breakups.
