The groundwork for UCF's 2017 recruiting class has already been laid with 19 players already on board.

The focus for the final spots will be filling the biggest needs and that could include a few junior college prospects that could help replenish a defense slated to lose several starters. Three such players are in town on official visits this weekend.

Junior college prospects Marquise Blair, Gabriel Luyanda and Delshawn Phillips, all linebackers, as well as defensive line commit Mason Cholewa will be in Orlando this weekend to see UCF's home finale against Tulsa.

It's been a busy regular season for UCF's recruiting efforts. In a departure from the previous regime, this coaching staff hasn't shied away from in-season official visits with 20 players coming through campus. 10 of UCF's 19 commitments have already visited. Several of those players, including RB Otis Anderson, QB Marvin Washington and WR Emmanuel Greene, should be enrolling in January.
