Home sweet home.

After playing five of their first eight games on the road, UCF is about to get reacquainted with Bright House Networks Stadium with a three-game homestand coming up against Tulane (Nov. 5), Cincinnati (Nov. 12) and Tulsa (Nov. 19).

That also means the Knights are entering a big recruiting stretch with many key targets expected to visit both officially and unofficially over the next three weeks.

Two prospects are expected to visit officially this weekend: OL Kendrick Green and TE Ravian Pierce.

Green, who hails from Peoria, Ill., is a two-way lineman that UCF feels would be a tremendous fit in Scott Frost's offense. This will be the second official visit for the 6-foot-4, 270-pounder, who previously visited Minnesota in September. He's settled in on a top four of UCF, Syracuse, Minnesota and Iowa, the latter two eyeing him for defense. He's visited Iowa a couple times unofficially this season.

This will be his second time in Orlando after following a summer visit.

"I really liked it," Green told Rivals.com. "Coach (Scott) Frost is legit and it's Florida. They have great facilities and playing and going to school in Florida and living in Florida would be a new experience."

Pierce, who attends Southwest Mississippi Community College and ranks as one of the top JUCO prospects in the nation, has been a longtime commit to Mississippi State. The former Plantation (Fla.) star signed with the Bulldogs in 2014 and has remained connected to the program all this time. That hasn't stopped other schools from offering, a group that includes Cincinnati, East Carolina, Florida, Houston, LSU, Memphis, South Carolina, USF, Syracuse, Wisconsin and others. He recently visited LSU unofficially.

The 6-foot-3, 235-pound Pierce ended his sophomore season at Southwest with 50 receptions for 426 yards and two touchdowns.

UCF has a total of 18 commitments in the 2017 class, the latest pledge coming two weeks ago from Virginia QB Darriel Mack Jr.
