UCF surges past SMU, 74-65

The trio of Isaiah Sykes (21 points), Calvin Newell (17 points) and Tristan Spurlock (14 points) stepped up to lead UCF to a 74-65 victory against SMU.

With the win, the Knights improved to 14-5 and 4-1 in Conference USA.

UCF now hits the road next week for games at Tulane and Marshall.
