East Carolina struck first by scoring touchdowns on their first two possessions, but it was all UCF after that as the Knights dominated in all three phases and smacked the Pirates, 40-20.

With the win, UCF is now 1-0 in Conference USA play and will look to add another one on Oct. 13 when another East Division rival, Southern Miss, visits the Bright House.
