As a high school junior, Hawaii-native McKenzie Milton led Mililani to a state championship in a perfect 13-0 season.

UCF's sophomore quarterback has an opportunity for perfection again. If the Knights take care of business against Auburn in the Chick fil-A Peach Bowl, they would be college football's only remaining undefeated team.

"Everyone wants to finish strong," Milton said. "I know Auburn wants to finish strong as well. There's a big difference between being 12-1 and 13-0. You can't argue 13-0. You can argue 12-1. That's the way we want to go out. That's the way we want to finish. We want to finish perfect."

UCF has the nation's No. 1 scoring offense averaging 49.4 points per game. Auburn is just as stout on defense, finishing No. 10 in the country while holding opponents to 17.3 points per game.

"They're a very good team on both sides of the ball," Milton said. "Defensively, they fly around. Up front they have a lot of guys who are going to play in the NFL and in the back end too. We've got to play our best game against them to even have a chance. It's going to be a lot of fun. We're going to come to play and I know they are too."

UCF wrapped up their sixth bowl practice on Thursday before coaches released the players for the holidays. They'll return Christmas night and have one more campus practice on the 26th before heading to Atlanta.

"I think we're pretty locked in," Milton said. "I think our game plan is almost finalized. We got our legs under us too which is awesome having a long break. Hopefully we don't come out rusty or anything like that. I think we'll be ready to go."
