UCF and ISP Announce Six-Station Radio Network
ORLANDO - UCF football fans can follow the Golden Knights in 2003 on a six-station radio network, the largest in the program's young history on the Division I-A level, according to a joint announcement today by the university and ISP Sports, the multimedia rightsholder for UCF Athletics.

Bolstered by the 50,000-watt signal of flagship station WQTM 740 The Team in Orlando, the UCF ISP Sports Network will cover 14 counties in central Florida, extending from the Gulf Coast to the Atlantic.
Full-time affiliates on the network include WROD-AM 1340 (Daytona Beach), WMMB-AM 1350 (Melbourne) and WDCF-AM 1350(Tampa). Two additional affiliates -- WMMV-AM 1350 (Cocoa) and WZHR-AM 1400 (Tampa)-- will carry live Golden Knight game broadcasts that do not conflict with previous commitments.
"This radio network will help us extend the exposure of our successful football program in areas where a lot of our alumni, current students, and future students live," said UCF athletics director Steve Orsini. "We already have a great flagship station and the addition of these affiliates will help us generate more interest in UCF from coast-to-coast in central Florida."
ISP Sports, now in its third year as the exclusive marketing representative of UCF Athletics, is also very pleased with the growth of the network.
"With thanks to the UCF Alumni Association and University Marketing for their support, we are excited to have UCF Football heard across central Florida," said ISP Sports Assistant Vice President, Dan Barrett. "This only further enhances UCF's image in the state and allows more fans to be exposed to the Golden Knights. The UCF ISP Sports Radio network is a great way to kickoff UCF's 25th year of football!"
UCF, entering its second year as a football member of the Mid-American Conference, opens the 2003 season August 31 at Virginia Tech.
