Commitment No. 5 is in.
UCF landed a pledge from Williston (Fla.) linebacker T.J. Pitts during a Wednesday visit to campus.
Pitts' coach, Justin Wentworth, tweeted the news along with a photo of T.J. posing with head coach Scott Frost.
Pitts, who is being recruited to play middle linebacker, earned Class 1A All-State second team honors as a junior after recording 116 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, nine forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries, three of which were returned for touchdowns.
He's the Knights' second defensive commitment in the 2017 class and the first from a linebacker.
