Dallas OL intrigued by UCF

One of the top offensive lineman in Texas likes what he's hearing about UCF.
Ty Barrett, a 6-foot-4, 300-pound tackle from Dallas-Skyline, picked up an offer from the Knights earlier this spring and on Tuesday he was visited at school by linebackers coach Tyson Summers.

"The coaches aren't allowed to say anything (during the school visit), but he always says he'll keep it real with me," Barrett said. "He's coached a lot of different football, from high school to college."
Barrett, who has around 20 offers, says he communicates often with the UCF staff.
"I talk to them quite a bit on social media," he said. "Coach Summers and also Coach (Brent) Key and Coach (Mark) Cammack."
One of his former Skyline teammates, linebacker Domenic Spencer, will be a sophomore at UCF this fall.
"Domenic has told me all about it," Barrett said. "His parents have told my parents. I've just to see it for myself. Great coaches. Coach (George) O'Leary is a great coach. I know they're in a great conference and have been going to bowl games. They won 10 games and been in the top 25. Just a great program. Location is great. Great education. I've heard it's a big campus with a lot of people."
Barrett, who has yet to form a favorites list, hopes to visit UCF this summer.
"I just want to feel comfortable and go to a school with good academics," he said.
His other offers include Arizona State, Baylor, Duke, Houston, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisiana-Monroe, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Morgan State, NC State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Rice, SMU, TCU, Texas Tech, Washington State and West Virginia.
