Georgia DT excited to visit UCF

In advance of this weekend's official visit to UCF, McDonough (Ga.) Eagle's Landing defensive tackle Tyrese Black was visited at his home Monday night by defensive line coach Shane Burnham.

Black, who is one of UCF's top defensive targets, says he had a great time meeting with Burnham face to face.

"Coach and I were getting to know each other," Black said. "He was telling me about the UCF program and the team bonding and chemistry they have, about how the team being very tight and close. Also, he was telling me about the amount of players that graduate after football."

In addition to their on-field success, UCF Football boasts one of the best graduation rates in the nation, a mark of 92 percent. That's No. 2 among FBS public schools and No. 7 overall.

Arkansas, TCU, Louisville, Syracuse and Kentucky are a few of the other schools recruiting him. Right now, he likes everything he's heard about the Knights and can't wait to see everything for himself. This will be his first official visit.

"What really sticks out to me the most is the coaches," Black said. "They actually care about your life off the field. I'm very excited to visit UCF."
