Marlon Williams: 'UCF showed me a lot'
It's been a whirlwind week for Marlon Williams.
The star wide receiver from Mobile (Ala.) McGill-Toolen broke things off with USC last Tuesday and with his recruitment open again saw renewed interest from a lot of schools. That included UCF, who is looking for an elite receiver to add to the class.
After a few conversations with offensive coordinator Troy Walters, the date was set to take an official visit down to Orlando this past weekend. Due to a Friday night basketball game, Williams arrived Saturday morning before departing early Monday.
"It was a good weekend," Williams said. "I had a lot of fun."
The busy day was Saturday with the full campus tour.
"My favorite part was probably just how nice the campus was," Williams said. "How everything was real close to each other. It wasn't all spread out."
