After two games, Mason Cholewa is UCF's tackles for loss leader with 3.0 TFLs to his name.
Now a redshirt sophomore and one of the regular rotation players at defensive tackle, Cholewa feels he's taken huge strides since he first saw game action last season.
"SMU last year wasn't my best game," Cholewa said. "I look at that film and I look at Saturday's film and I see two completely different players. I feel I move way better, I feel way stronger. My weight is way up. I just feel more comfortable."
In talking about the defensive line's early success, Cholewa felt there is now better overall chemistry between the unit.
How pumped is he for Saturday's game vs. Stanford?
"I'm super excited," he said. "I can't wait for the Bounce House to be jumping. It's gonna be like Cincinnati. I feel like it's going to be louder. It's going to be a game to remember."
