UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton hopes the 13-0 season will help springboard the Knights to even greater heights in 2018.
"I think it does a lot," Milton said following Sunday's parade at Magic Kingdom. "I think it proves with a sense of confidence that we can play with anybody. We just want to keep things rolling. There's only one way to go, keep going up. I think our guys are ready to attack spring ball and summer workouts."
Milton believes UCF should be a "top seven" team in the 2018 preseason rankings.
"Just the returners we have," Milton said. "Obviously we graduate guys like Shaquem, some guys on our d-line and some guys are going to the NFL, but we bring back our core nucleus. I think we have the opportunity to be better next year."
