UCFast has arrived.

That's the spring assessment of offensive tackle Aaron Evans, who says Scott Frost's offense is finally starting to live up to its namesake.

The always-eloquent Evans spoke to reporters on Monday following the Knights' seventh practice and first official scrimmage of spring.

"I thought it went well," Evans said of the scrimmage. "I think there's some little detail of things we need to clean up, like false starts, hands to the face, stuff like that. That's normal. I think overall it looked good. We need to be a little more detailed in our assignments."

Top plays of the scrimmage?

"Tre'Quan caught a pass on the sideline where we were pushing the pile," Evans said. "That was exciting to see. Some big chunk plays, bombs to the end zone. Big catches. Defense made some big plays too, some interceptions."

Evans was asked to compare and contrast the offense now vs. where it was at the end of last season.

"Oh my gosh, it's night and day," Evans said. "Everyone knows what they're doing. Everyone is being far more intentional with their assignments. There's a lot more buy-in from everyone. Accountability has increased significantly. All those things added together has really translated on the field to more productivity. It's real exciting to see."
