VIDEO: Players looking forward to #FirstFrost

Mark Rucker and Tre'Quan Smith can't wait for Saturday.

As the player representatives at Monday's press conference, each spoke of their excitement regarding the changes implemented by Scott Frost and his coaching staff.

"It feels amazing, the energy these coaches brought in for us," Rucker said. "Coach Frost brought in a new system and we just bought in quickly. I feel that players that were a part of that season last year, it felt like we're going to give so much effort towards Coach Frost and those coaches because they gave us a system of 'Do not be afraid to mess up.' Last year we were afraid to mess up. Playing this game, you can't be afraid to make any mistakes. He teaches us that every day."

Smith, who led UCF in receiving last year, concurs.

"I'd say the biggest thing (Frost is telling us) is to have fun," Smith said. "To have love for the game. A lot of that wasn't there last year. That's the big thing Coach Frost said. You've got to love what you do and you've got to have fun with it."
