The 2017 National Championship quarterbacks, UCF's McKenzie Milton and Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa, were invited guests to the Black College Football Hall of Fame's annual induction ceremonies in Atlanta on Saturday.
Milton spent several minutes live streaming via Instagram from the event. He was alongside Tua Tagovailoa and his brother, Class of 2019 quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa, who like Milton are from Hawaii.
Tua, upon realizing he was being live streamed, did a "U-C-F" chant for Milton.
Milton and his mother Teresa followed with a "Go Knights, Charge On!" cheer.
Milton then suggested Taulia should be a Knight.
"This is gonna be our 2019 quarterback commit," Milton said. "This is a verbal commit."
Tua, the current Alabama quarterback, then grabbed and phone and said this about McKenzie: "He's probably gonna win the Heisman next year. I don't know if y'all know any of that, but he's probably going to win the Heisman."
In wrapping up, Milton said this to his Instagram commenters and followers:
"UCF Family, I love you guys. Next year is gonna be a special year under Coach Heupel. I can't wait."
